I am a wife of an American soldier with three kids. I am also a online college student going for my degree in criminal justice. I love to cook italian and mexican meals. I also love to grill burgers. I get the burgers ready and my husband does the grilling, I am not allowed to touch his grill! I have never had the experience of having family cooking traditions. Right now all I can think of is that when I cook a meal I make my husband taste it first just to see his happy reaction before I begin to eat. Its become a tradition even though its weird. I am getting better and I cook the way I want to and not the way others think I should. Not following directions! My husband almost set fire to the oven over the pizza I made by hand, he was not paying attention to it and I believe I added to much sauce and cheese!
