About this Cook
I am Arizona State graduate and am married to a wonderful guy. I enjoy drinking good red wine, cooking, playing poker, and reading.
My favorite things to cook
I love to cook anything or try at least. I really love using my slow cooker. With not a lot of time with being busy with work, the slow cooker is a great option.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Don't really have a lot of family traditions. Both of my parents are terrible chefs, I am trying to lose their bad cooking gene.
My cooking triumphs
I have triumphs whenever I cook something and it turns out good! Or when my food critic (my husband) gives me the ok to make again.
My cooking tragedies
I once made BBQ ribs in my slow cooker while I was at work. I was late getting home from work and my husband thought the ribs turned into beef jerky. It has been over a year since then, but I don't think I will hear the end of it.

Stuffed Pork Chops III
Wonderful. I used Stove top stuffing to put in the pork chops and it turned out great. I typically don't like Stove top stuffing, but put inside the pork chops was very good. Reminded me of a Thanksgiving turkey but with pork chops.

Cajun Dirty Rice
This was an awesome dish. My boyfriend always adds tabasco to everything I make, but for this dish there was no need. I used hot sausages and hot chilies with the tomatoes. Next time I may tone it down, since I started to break a sweat while eating it. But it was very good.

Honeyed Pork Chops
This was by far the best pork chops ever. The sauce was just wonderful. My boyfriend liked it so much I made the same sauce later in the week for chicken.
