Growing up in Central California, I acquired the taste for authentic Mexican food at a young age. To this day, it is still a great passion to cook Mexican cuisine, and yet I have also found a fondness for French and Ethiopian cuisine. A favorite family tradition is making homemade salsa along with a mexican feast. It was a dark and stormy night...ok, it was really in the middle of the day. I was twelve years old and had just enough cheddar for the perfect grilled cheese sandwich. The sandwich grilled, the burner turned off, my brother decided that he wanted the sandwich for himself. Long story short ...my sandwich ended up in about 27 pieces and my brother ended up with a black eye.
