Chicken Tikka Masala
I added the salt to the yogurt marinade but omitted the rest of the salt according to others' suggestions. Turned out well. I really like spicy food but my brother-in-law doesn't so I took out the seeds and veins of the pepper. He still thought it was too spicy but I thought it was about a 3 on a 1-10 spice scale. This was my first crack at an indian dish and I thought it was really good. Tasty and interesting combo of spices and a good way to change up the routine.
I thought the sauce was really rich so I served this over rice with some peas and next time I think I'll do a salad and some bread as well and cut back on the portion of chicken tikka on everyone's plate.
