As much as I'd like to give this a better review I can't. The flavor was nothing like my regular Gingersnap recipe and unfortunately most of the cookies were given away as we did not like the flavor or texture.

The World's Best Turkey

I only cook 1/2 of a turkey so used 1 apple and 1/2 bottle champagne. I put the champagne in the bag before adding the garlic powder & salt & pepper. It was done in 2-1/4 hrs (9 lb. turkey) and was falling off the bone. It was moist and tender. The juice made great gravy, too! For a simple and easy variation of the standard turkey, this is very good!

Sherry Wine Sauce Chicken

My boyfriend is tired of baked or fried chicken so tried this out on him. He raved about it. The sauce is perfect as gravy over mashed potatoes. Definitely a keeper and very easy to make.

Grandma's Green Bean Casserole

Amaretto Cheesecake I

Made this for Valentine's Day. Very good and creamier than most cheesecakes. Amaretto adds a very slight almond flavor. Would definitely make again.

Cinnamon Rolls I

Good but dough came out of bread machine very sloppy, had to add in about 1/2 c. flour to get it to handle well enough to pat out. The carmel topping is easy and very tasty. Will use that in my cinnamon roll recipes in the future. As far as this recipe goes, I may or may not make it again. All in all though very good cinnamon rolls.

Garlic Parmesan Chicken

This sounded interesting so I thought I'd give it a try. All you could taste was garlic and the french fried onions. I baked the chicken per the recipe for 35 minutes and it was still pink in the middle even though the juices ran clear. My boyfriend couldn't even eat it. I will definitely not make again.

Carrot and Raisin Salad I

Made this for Christmas Day - used food processor to shred the carrots, put it all together and per my boyfriend, tasted just like his mom used to make which is a great compliment because she was a great cook! Lasts well in refrigerator. If you like carrots & raisins, try this - you'll be glad you did.

Hash Brown Casserole II

I've made this twice now. First time even after baking recommended time onions were too crunchy. Made for Christmas Day and sauteed onions in butter until soft, added and dish was much better. The sauteed cornflake crumbs on top add a great taste. Will definitely make again!

Southwestern Bake

I have made this twice now - I find it best if you only use one layer of tortilla chips on top of the 1st layer, then cheese, then rest of sauce topping with cheese, only making 2 layers rather than 3. The first time I used all of the chips and it was very dry. On top layer of cheese also added some chopped olives.

Slow Cooker Adobo Chicken

I tried this because I needed to have dinner done when I got home from work. The house smelled wonderful, the chicken literally fell off the bone and had a very good flavor. Will do again.
