Honey Whole Wheat Bread

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2009
This was my first attempt at a whole wheat bread at the request of my MIL for her Thanksgiving dinner. I added 3TBS of vital wheat gluten and it turned out perfect.

Easy Slow Cooker Chicken

I added 1/2Tb Mrs. Dash and 1/4tsp of chili powder and a dash of parsley. With those additions, this was a tasty dish.

Sarah's Salsa

Reviewed: Aug. 23, 2008
The first time I made it I found that 1/3c of cilantro is *way* too much and overpowered everything else. I've cut back on the cilantro and instead of a can of tomato/chilies I use a can of diced chilies.

Tuna Noodle Casserole I

After reading reviews I doubled the cheese mixture and tuna. It was ok, but pretty bland.

Tuna Dumplings

Reviewed: Aug. 23, 2008
After reading reviews, I baked the dumplings about 25 mins before adding the soup mixture then baked for another 15mins. I do like that the dumplings were golden brown and slightly crunchy.

Honey Mustard Grilled Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 10, 2008
We don't use steak sauce so we didn't have any so I had to use Worcestershire sauce and added a pinch of chili powder. I broiled the chicken and served with roasted red potatoes.

Cheeseburger Pie

Reviewed: Jun. 11, 2008
This reminded me more of a deconstructed meatloaf than a Cheeseburger Pie. My hubby made this, so maybe he did something incorrect. I will make again to see if I get a better result.

Sooooo good. Didn't change any ingredients. Just had to make in two pie dishes due to room in the fridge.

Strawberry Vanilla Pancakes

The changes I made are: 3/4c milk, 1tsp of vanilla and 1/4tsp salt. They were light, fluffy and full of strawberry goodness. Yum!

Broccoli Chicken Casserole IV

Reviewed: May 13, 2008
I used 4 chicken breasts, baked seperately and then chopped. I thawed 16oz of chopped frozen broccoli and squeezed out the excess moisture. I only used 1/3c milk and this turned out perfect. 4* due to changes made, but it was very tasty and went over well with my family for Mother's Day.

Molly's Chicken

This very much satisfied my craving for Chinese food. I also used a reduced-sodium soy sauce and chicken breasts. An instant fav in my house.

Mack's Tunaburgers

Reviewed: Apr. 22, 2008
After reading the reviews, I chose to use a teriyaki sauce that was thicker and only used 1/4c of it with a doubled recipe. These make a great cheaper and tasty alternative to turkey burgers.

We didn't care for the sauce, it was too sweet. But the meatballs themselves are really good.

We had to do this in the oven, but it was still very tasty and a nice change of pace for pork chops. Was served with jasmine rice.

Spinach Cheese Ball

I didn't get to eat any of this because I made it for a Christmas event I wasn't able to attend, but it won first prize in the dip category. I had shaped it like a tree, covered it with parsley, used sunflower seeds for lights and used a tortilla cut into a star for a topper.
