I'm a junior in college going to school in Marion, IN and love to cook! I've always enjoyed baking ever since I was little and am always looking for new recipes to try. I am in nursing school right now but would love to one day go to a cullinary or pastry school. My favorite things to cook are desserts but thats probably because that's what I've baked the most. I would love to try making full meals more. I love making and frosting the sugar cookies at Christmas, even though we always have to make a second batch of dough because the first one gets eaten raw! My cooking triumph would have to be the chocolate covered cherries that I made for Christmas this year. Everyone loved them and said they tasted like the real thing. I tired to make a key lime pie my sophomore year in highschool and instead of using six egg yolks I used six egg whites! The pie was compeltely awful and chalky and I couldn't figure out what the problem was until I read through the recipe again! haha
