I am a mother, wife and grandmother. I have been cooking over half my life. Iam a very busy person i own a florist and also a Heating & Cooling company..But i always have time to cook for my family. I just love to bake..Wish i had more time to bake more often.If you asked my husband he would say pinto beans & Stew potatoes with cornbread..With us being from the deep south this is somethig we have often here. Sunday dinner.I come from a very large family and on every sunday it was a big thing to come back from church for a very large family dinner ..It was like chirstmas dinner every week.With all the aunts and uncles and cousin we would have a huge spread. Making butter milk biscuts with my grandmother and Mother and now me making them with my daughter. As most of us know making a good biscut is not so easy.. I was thinking about this and i couldn't recall any than it just came to me i was baking a cake and phone rang and i got to talking and forgot about the cake so it burn on the outter edge. I was going to toss it away but my husband ate it anyway after cutting the burnt off. I still laugh about that.
