Kale Soup

I have been making this soup for years. It is very good. But if you want extra flavor go to the local grocery store and find Lipton cup of green pea soup (it is a dry package soup) This makes the base of the soup rich and creamy.

Bacon Wrapped Smokies

I have used this recipe for about a year the only thing wrong is you never make enough !!!!! I always double this recipe. ~ I have found if you cook the bacon in the microwave a couple minutes before wrapping it around the sausages it cuts down on the cooking time in the oven ~ and the sausages are not dried out. This recipe is the BOMB Thanks PS you can also keep them warm in a crock pot for hours and they are still delic.

I love this recipe. I cooked it in a pan on the grill ~ it was delicious. The only change I made was I used Chicken Stock in place of the water.

I too thought these were a tad salty. Plus I think the peanut butter over powers the oatmeal. If you like oatmeal cut back on the PB.

Herb Roasted Pork

This is delicious! The only thing I did different is I place the pork on a wire rack over a water bath. Into the water bath I added liquid smoke (amount depends on the persons own taste, I like the flavor of the liquid smoke) I also took the advice of others and doubled the sauce recipe, and I rubbed the pork really well with the dry rub and left it to merinade on the counter top for about 2 hours or until room temp. before cooking it. Thanks for sharing the recipe.

Chicken Cordon Bleu II

This was pretty good. But to cut calories next time I will substitute cream of chicken soup for the heavy cream. I served this with a baked sweet potato and Sugar pea pods for color.

Cheesy Ham and Hash Brown Casserole

This was very good. I took the advice from another reviewer and topped it with Durkee onion's (THAT WAS A MISTAKE) it made it way too salty. Next time I will reduce the amount of Parmie but follow the recipe exactly. It was full of flavor.

I took the advice of others and I used Mayo instead of oil and it was awesome My husband loved it (We are from New England so that says a lot) He told me to give it a 10 star and put it into my receipe box for the Grandkids HE HE He Obviously we have been cooking for some time.

Caesar Salad Supreme

This recipe is awesome. My Grandkids went crazy over it, even after they found out there were anchovies in it. It was easy and very tasty. The only thing I did different was I left out the salt, the anchovies made up for it. I will never make another Caesar salad dressing any other way. Thanks for sharing.
