Cakes! Last summer up at the cabin, I decided to surprise my husband and grill some hamburgers while he was down at the beach with the kids. I didn't wait long enough after lighting the coals, and flames started flying as I placed the burgers on the grill. They were all but charred in a matter of minutes ... you should have seen me trying to flip them over with the flames jumping up! The kids refused to eat them. But my husband, the good sport that he is, ate a couple of them ... laughing the entire time.
