About this Cook
i started cooking when i was 20. i had gotten married and i absolutely did not know anything about cooking. but since we couldnt live on fast food and eat pizza everyday, i started searching for recipes on the internet. my husband and i aren't together anymore, but 4 yrs later.. im thankful that because of him.. i now know how to cook. And everyday im cooking, learning and experimenting. And my lovely boyfriend is here to compliment me on my cooking skills! :D
My favorite things to cook
i like to make casseroles, one dish meals, i love pasta, there's always pasta around, soups, all types of ribs and chicken.
My favorite family cooking traditions
no traditions. hopefully, i can make some when i have my own family. but for now, it's cooking a traditional thanksgiving meal for myself and friends.
My cooking triumphs
hmm.. my first turkey was a success, i was very pleased considering i was very new to cooking. Also, the first time i cooked for friends, and seeing how much they liked it was very rewarding.
My cooking tragedies
it was stuffed peppers. i mixed the uncooked rice with the other ingredients and stuffed it in the pepper. i baked for the time listed, and when it came out.. the rice wasnt cooked! (my first cooking days, lol) so i took out the filling and fried it in the pan, hoping the rice would cook. after it did cook, i stuffed it back in the pepper and baked~ although, this was a cooking tragedy, the outcome was very good. this isn't my first cooking tragedy, but the most remembered by me! :D
