About this Cook
I have been cooking for years but never as an actual job. I am always the one stuck to do the cooking at reunions and family get-to-gethers.
My favorite things to cook
My favorite things to cook are mexican/spanish foods especially my tacos which are to die for. I also love pasta dishes and asian cuisine. Sometimes I make mistakes but what cook doesn't...
My favorite family cooking traditions
On Christmas Eve, we always have mexican food.
My cooking triumphs
Since I've been a child, my mother, grandmother and me have been making chocolate chip cookies. They're the best.
My cooking tragedies
Who hasn't had a cake or muffin fall?

Holiday Poke Cake
This is also an old family tradition, we call it Jello cake. My personal favorite combo is lemon cake, lime jello, and some lemon pudding mixed in with the whipped cream to top it off. Yum yum, I make it all the time. It has a surprisingly refreshing taste.

Alfredo Sauce
Maybe I did something wrong...but I don't think so. I doubled the recipe so it'd be enough for my family. That's all the changes I made. I grated a block of parm right before making the sauce, I didn't everything right. The parm was very very gritty and the whole sauce was just completely flavorless. I'm sorry. We couldn't eat it, I had to pull out my bottle of store bought alfredo sauce. Again, I'm sorry, but we just didn't like it.

Pasta Sauce with Italian Sausage
I made this today with 10 sausage links and no hamburger meat. I didn't measure either. It was sooo yummy, the italian sausage really gives it an extra depth of flavor. Yum, will make again and again.
