I love to cook. I love to try making new and interesting recipes. New twists on old favorites is always alot of fun for me. I live in Calhoun Georgia. I am engaged to be married on 10/10/10. I have a 28 year old daughter and I enjoy helping her with recipes and helping to develop her cooking skills. Pasta. I have found that I love cooking different pasta dishes. I also love baking cakes. My favorite right now is Italian Cream Cake. Cheesecakes are also a specialty of mine. My Grandparents raised me and my four brothers. She cooked at least 2 times a day. My Grandmother (Tennie Owens) was a wonderful cook and she only used a cookbook if she were baking cakes. She made a wonderful Roast Beef with root vegetables. Yummy. I don't even know how she made the gravy that went with this dish. Still have not been able to replicate it. :) Cakes. I can bake any type of cake. When if first started baking cakes (not cake mixes) i was pretty nervous. Especially with cheesecakes. They are not as difficult as I thought. Taste and variety.
