a blanched asparagus dish served with an olive oil dressing...my husband asked to see the recupe, then quietly ripped it into pieces & threw it away. We both agreed it was AWFUL!!!!

Fantastic Black Bean Chili
This chili is fantastic! I increased the garlic cloves to 4 & the crushed tomatoes to 16 oz. The chili had a rich hearty taste without being overpowering - perfect for those who can't tolerate super spicy foods. We had warm flour tortillas with humus on the side. It was a filling meal, great for cold winter days.

Baked Soy Lemon Chops
This recipe is a definite "keeper!" I used Kikkoman less sodium soy sauce & 3/4" boneless chops. I marinated the meat 2 hours in a food saver vacuum container. Baked the chops in the marinade basting every 10 minutes. The meat was moist, tender & delicious. Served with turnip greens and turnips on the side - a most enjoyable meal!
