I used to help my mom in the kitchen when I was little. When I became a teenager, I no longer found it to be exciting, although I still loved to bake. Becoming a mother myself has helped me rediscover the joys of cooking. My daughter is 3 and already enjoys being in the kitchen, let's just hope she's not as evil as I was in her teenage years:) I love to cook comfort foods. The smells that fill your house should be inviting and nostalgic. My favorite things to cook are Chicken and Cheese Burritos, Roasted Chicken with Stuffing and Potatoes, Cottage Pie, and Meatloaf. When I bake, I always include my little one. She pours in the ingredients and I mix. She's always excited to see the finished product.
