Marinade for Chicken

Tasty and easy - marinated chicken breasts for several hours - left a little aside (prior to marinating) for baking - good stuff.

Gourmet Mushroom Risotto

Great risotto. I adde grilled asparagus at the end and was wonderful. Could go so many directions with this recipe, but it is great as it is as well.

Easy Lemon Cookies

I made a batch of these as is - which is why i can actually rate the recipe and will say they were not quite lemony enough for us. I made them again and up'd the lemon extract to 2 tsp and they were much better. I love the base of this recipe though - they make chewey cookies that, if baked right, have a little crunch on the bottom. My huband devoured several. Made for a Spring-time Tupperware party and everyone asked for the recipe!

Penne with Spicy Vodka Tomato Cream Sauce

Made it exactly as is - loved it. thank you! Note that it may seem that the tomatoes add too much liquid - but it goes pretty fast. I used it with homemade spinach rigatoni - yum.

Baked Potato Soup

Please do not change everything about a recipe and then rate it as if you actually made this recipe... I made this as is written and it was wonderful. It will be my go to potato soup - super easy, common ingredients, FAST and yummy. If you are afraid itwill be too soupy then omit some of the chicken stock - you can always add more later. This ia a great recipe - thanks for posting it!

My Amish Friend's Caramel Corn

I do not rate recipes that I alter as I do not find it fair.... with that said - note the 5 stars. This is rock star caramel corn. Super duer crazy addictive, a wonderful salty sweet taste. It is perfect as is but also awesome drizzled with chocolate, sprinkle with some sea salt, add chocolate covered pretzels.....or, honestly, huge bowl, you, comfy chair and a great movie - perfect!

Crustless Spinach Quiche

I have made this as is and I have "tweaked it" and it is great both ways. this is great on it's own, but also a great starter for alternatives. I only use two whole eggs and 5 egg whites, non-fat cheese and add some feta on top for a little salt - great either way!

Best Black Beans

These were great made as is - except I drained the beans (by accident - didn't read it through) so I ended up using a bit of beef broth to compensate and just fine. Next time will not drain the beans and I am sure it will be just as good.

Sunflower Oatmeal Cookies

Yum yum yum! I followed the recipe with the exception of the coconut - I cut it in half and added chocolate chips. Awesome. I will make it next time according to the recipe as I think it will be wonderful, I was just serving them to people who like chocolate. These are great - thanks for the recipe!

Cherry Salad

This is good as is or as a good base for some additions. It is wonderful with pecans or walnuts and some pineapple chucks (well drained or it gets runny). I would recommend keeping it in the fridge for a couple of hours before servng to give it time to set up - it is much better cold....

Jet Swirl Pizza Appetizers

These are easy for a potluck or laid back gathering (kids loved them). I did microwave the pepperoni on some papertowel and others are right - less is more with this one. Served with a good pizza sauce from a local restaurant.

California Grilled Veggie Sandwich

LOVED IT! I didn't change a thing abotu the recipe. I did add Avacado slices which ended up being a nice addition to an already great recipe. NOTE; Not all foccacia is equal. If you can get some good freshly made - I used a spinach florentine loaf from my local bakery - good stuff! Makes 4 decent size sandwiches.

Shish Tawook Marinated Chicken

This is excellent served with Chapati - it is pretty easy to make but much easier to pick up to go from an Indian Restaurant. So easy - marinate in a bag overnight, toss it in a pan (or oven) the next day and grab some flat bread to serve it on - no brainer!

Spinach Lasagna III

I doubled the spinach and this was a great recipe! I would rate it 5 stars even without my changes. To add some meat - I know - taboo - I browned up some ground chicken breast in spices - great stuff. My husband sd it was quite possibly the best he has ever had!
