This was great - super super easy and yummy. Love the set it and forget it concept! I also love being able to control the salt content of meals. Great recipe thanks!

Yum yum yum! I followed the recipe with the exception of the coconut - I cut it in half and added chocolate chips. Awesome. I will make it next time according to the recipe as I think it will be wonderful, I was just serving them to people who like chocolate. These are great - thanks for the recipe!

Cherry Salad

This is good as is or as a good base for some additions. It is wonderful with pecans or walnuts and some pineapple chucks (well drained or it gets runny). I would recommend keeping it in the fridge for a couple of hours before servng to give it time to set up - it is much better cold....

Jet Swirl Pizza Appetizers

These are easy for a potluck or laid back gathering (kids loved them). I did microwave the pepperoni on some papertowel and others are right - less is more with this one. Served with a good pizza sauce from a local restaurant.

California Grilled Veggie Sandwich

LOVED IT! I didn't change a thing abotu the recipe. I did add Avacado slices which ended up being a nice addition to an already great recipe. NOTE; Not all foccacia is equal. If you can get some good freshly made - I used a spinach florentine loaf from my local bakery - good stuff! Makes 4 decent size sandwiches.

Shish Tawook Marinated Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 3, 2009
This is excellent served with Chapati - it is pretty easy to make but much easier to pick up to go from an Indian Restaurant. So easy - marinate in a bag overnight, toss it in a pan (or oven) the next day and grab some flat bread to serve it on - no brainer!

Spinach Lasagna III

I doubled the spinach and this was a great recipe! I would rate it 5 stars even without my changes. To add some meat - I know - taboo - I browned up some ground chicken breast in spices - great stuff. My husband sd it was quite possibly the best he has ever had!

Yogurt-Marinated Salmon Fillets (Dahi Machhali Masaledar)

Did not make any changes to this and it was great - a little blander that i would have like, but really good - and super easy. Marinate the night before, come home from work, throw on some brown rice and veggies and wah lah! I will probably try it again because it was so easy.

Mediterranean Chicken

Thanks for another heart healthy recipe Robin! I did use one can of unsalted petite cut tomatoes and about 1/2 C chopped fresh tomatoes. I added the can early in the recipe and the fresh about 5 minutes before being done so they remained whole. Add a few red pepper flakes and you will feel no need for salt! I put this over organic whole wheat pasta - yum!

Asian Chicken Salad

Reviewed: Jan. 22, 2009
I am so sorry to give this such a low rating, but it is just OK, rice noodle are too finiky and the fat content in this recipe equal that close to a good ol' fashion burger. It is just too fattening and the sodium count is incorrect - it is higher than it shows and it is so so and not worth the calories.

Pasta Fagioli Soup II

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2009
This s a great recipe but quite salty. next time I will omit the extra salt all together. I used spicy Turkey sausage instead of bacon and it was perfect. This is also quite a bit thicker than a soup - more like a stew, but wonderful - serve it Olive Garden style with breadsticks and a great little side salad.

These are great - packed with flavor and still healthful. I doubled the recipe - the leftovers are great in the asian chicken salad recipe on this site... I serve this over black ben corn couscous - recipe on the site as well - it complements the flavors perfectly.

YUM! I am trying to follow a diet requiring more vegetables and this recipes helps fit the bill! It is low sodium. I reduced the oil and omitted and salt and it was perfect. What a great combination of veggies - I have a new favorite. I am making this every Sunday and doubling the recipe to take to work for lunches for the week.

Rock on! This is awesome stuff. I made it with the chili lime chicken kabob recipe and it was spectacular - although, it would really be great on its own. I cook low sodium so I omitted the salt and used low sodium chicken broth. My husabnd did end up needing to salt it a bit, but loved it anyway. Thanks for the great recipe!

Mexican Ceviche

I have chronc high blood pressure and am on a constant voyage to find recipes with very low sodium content -this is a great very healthful recipe. The citrus was a bit too - well citrusy, I think because I did not add enough tomato juice (sodium thing). My husband loved it. I served this in tortilla bowls made from whole grain tortillas baked with some olive oil over an upside down bowl. Oh - and toped with some avacados. Very fresh and healthy tasting - I have a feeling it will better tomorrow.

Lemon Blueberry Drop Scones

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2009
Great basic recipe that can be changed up a million ways. I did not have any yogurt so I used low fat sour cream and couple of drops of pure lemon extract in addition to the grated peel. I also a dried berry mix of blueberries, cherries and cranberries. You can add nuts, other berries, white chocolate, etc... you can just about do anything with this recipe and it would still be great. My fav: Lemon base with cherries and almonds. Keep this recipe around for brunches, teas, showers, any day ending in Y..... it sooo easy, only takes about 30 minutes start to finish.

Asian Chicken Noodle Salad

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2009
This stuff is awesome! Rather than plain chicken I used some left over chicken breast from a Hawaiian Chicken recipe. My suggestions: Use marinated chicken - it just bumps the flavor a bit, double the chicken and just about everything else because this makes a ton of extra dressing. The leftovers are a bit soggy, so if you want some left over, seperate some out and save some dressing for later.
