About this Cook
I am married and we have a 12 year old daughter who keeps us very busy. I also work outside the home.
My favorite things to cook
I like to cook any type of pasta dish. I also like to make pies, however I don't have much time for that. I enjoy making different types of slow cooker soups and stews.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My favorite family cooking tradition is that my husband cooks our Thanksgiving turkey in a pillowcase! He learned it in his Bachelor Living class many years ago in school and he has cooked our turkey every year for the 20 years of our marriage!
My cooking triumphs
Cooking anything that gets the raves of my sister in law who is a VERY good cook!
My cooking tragedies
I've never really had any major tragedies....yet!

Cola Burgers
This is the exact same recipe that I have for Cola Burgers, and I have to tell you........ they are awesome! However, there are a couple of secrets I will share. Try not to over mix it. And PLEASE be sure to cook the burgers SLOWLY. This keeps them juicy! And if you are lucky enough to have any leftover, they taste just as good the next day! I hope you like them as much as we do!

Mocha Chocolate Chip Banana Muffins
I can't thank you enough for sharing this recipe! These muffins are the best we have ever tasted! I cut the sugar down to 1 cup and I also cut the margarine by 1/2. I use the mini chocolate chips and 4 very ripe bananas and I made 18 nice sized muffins. I gave this recipe to my sister in law, who is a fabulous cook and never gets excited about any recipe I give her -- until now!Try these and they will become your favorite also!
