This cheesecake is a great idea. I used 1 cup of pureed banana in place of the sour cream, as they have the same moisture content. This made a nice, thick, and banana flavored cheesecake. I did not have any banana liqueur, so I am sure that the flavor would have been even better with that. I would make a few changes the next time I made this. I would add a double layer of vanilla wafers and greatly reduce the amount of whipped cream in the topping. I felt like I could not taste the pudding after folding in the whipped cream. Also, I would add pieces of walnuts somewhere else in the cheesecake because they are not that noticeable in the crust. Overall, a great recipe-it was devoured at a potluck I went to.

This recipe was perfect. I followed the recipe as written, except I used 1 tsp of cumin instead of 1 Tbs. The flavor was fine to me but I could see how one might want to add more spices. I always end up with leftover tomato paste from other recipes, and this is a great way to use it up.

This recipe (with a few alterations) is amazing. It will give you delicious peppermint patties that are better than Yorks. This are the changes I made: 1) use bittersweet instead of semisweet chocolate 2) use only 1 tsp of peppermint extract. I also did the following with my mashed potato to make the dough more of an easy process: Boil and mash potato, refrigerate until cold, put potato through a ricer, and then proceed with recipe. I ended up using around 2 pounds of powdered sugar (a little over 7 cups) and just made sure to generously dust the counter and my hands with sugar while forming the patties. I also froze the patties overnight which helped with dipping. Thank you for a GREAT recipe!

The only changes that I made to this recipe were to blend the cream cheese, basil, and sundried tomatoes together as others suggested, and use some leftover honey baked ham. These were really flavorful and held up well overnight. I used one good sized-bunch of fresh basil and added the whole thing to the spread ( I tasted along the way and found no issue with a strong taste of basil).

I increased this dish to use up 3 pomegranates that I had. I also used a combination of plums, apples, and pears. It was a huge hit at a potluck I went to; everyone wanted the recipe!

This recipe was better than I expected. I tried cooking them with a dinner plate sprayed with Pam and with plate with parchment paper sprayed with Pam. Both methods worked well. The paper just made it easier to transfer the chips. A single layer of potatoes took about 5 minutes in my microwave. Thank you for a great alternative to fried chips!

These turned out Great! I actually made one of the "Sauerkraut Salad" recipes and used the leftovers for this recipe. I also used some leftover ham and ground beef. I omitted the parsley and caraway seed, as the salad was already flavored. I ended up making mine into the size of golfballs and there were 36. I had a little bit of batter left and used plenty of bread crumbs to make these manageable. If you have a deep fryer with a basket, coating them thoroughly keeps them from sticking to the basket. This recipe is Great with modifications. I followed another's suggestion to use 1/3 cup sugar (white), 1/3 cup oil, 1/3 cup cider vinegar. I also used 3 stalks celery, 1 whole red pepper in place of pimentos, 2 carrots shredded/grated, and 1 onion finely chopped. I think the caraway seed could have been increased a little bit. I might try that next time. Thanks for a new way to prepare sauerkraut!

This recipe was perfect, as I needed to use up some extra applesauce. I topped them with some sauteed apples-yum!

This was a great tasting bread and a good amount of apple flavor. A little dense, but I would make it again.

I doubled this recipe for fear that it might not be enough. We ended up having a good amount of leftovers, so the original recipe amounts are definitely enough for four people. I made the sauce a day before serving it as others suggested. I included the tomatoes and by the next day, they were very sweet but shriveled looking, so I could have added them later . The sauce smelled wonderful and was perfect because I had most of the ingredients on hand. I used about half of the chili paste and it was fine but might use the full amount next time to try it out. Overall a good sweet/spicy dish.

These were very good. I followed other reviews and used 3/4 teaspoon salt and 1 teaspoon vanilla. They were nice and fluffy, much better than the box mix.

This was very good and had the right consistency for my tastes. I made it the night before and served it the next morning with pancakes so the flavors would have time to mix.

This recipe was a nice change but my sister thought that the soy sauce was a bit strong. That could be reduced next time, but overall it was a good marinade.

This was very tasty! I microwaved it foe 10 minutes and it came out perfect, although I would not mind trying to steam it next time to see if it makes a difference in the texture. It also reminded me of the typical corn pudding made with corn bread mix, sour cream, and eggs. I would make this again. Thanks!
