Chewy Crispy Coconut Cookies

Great recipe! I cooked each batch only 9 minutes due to burning. Make sure you store these right away. I left some out for 40 minutes and they softened up and were not crispy anymore.

Giant Chocolate Chip Cookie

This is the same exact recipe as my mom's. I've been making this for many years. Only one thing is different in that I use 1/2 cup of butter and 1/2 cup of shortening. I usually only bake mine for 20 minutes, too.

Great recipe. I didn't make the sauce, yet, but will be doing so with the next batch I make. My whole family loved this. I even had one cold for breakfast and it tasted great!

Great recipe! Very similar to my basic vanilla cake recipe that I use for my customers. I used Lemon cake mix and substituted lemon extract for the other two.

Mom's Macaroni and Cheese

Very good, and very easy to make! I added parsley and pepper to the top along with the bread crumbs. I also baked it covered, except for the last 10 minutes. I used Colby cheese. I will keep this one.

Banana Peanut Butter Bread

Very good! I put in 3/4 the amount of sugar and added 1/4 cup of applesauce. I think I will add more peanut butter next time because it was hard to taste.

Hamburger Hash

Sorry I did not like this at all. The potatoes were way too mushy. I even cut the simmer time in half to 15 min. then evaporated most of the juice off for 15 more minutes on med-high. The potatoes just took in too much liquid. The whole dish was mushy with no texture.

As the person who posted this recipe, I've found, after some reviews, that you do need to add cornstarch to this recipe. I would say probably 1 tablespoon per cup of water. Thank you for the reviews and improving on this recipe over the years.
