I am a mother of four nearly grown children ranging from 21-14, and one son-in law. I've been married to the same guy for 23 years. We live in the country and grow a giant garden. I hate winter. I lose track of time when I am cooking. I love my kitchenaid and my cuisinart. I read cookbooks like novels. fancy desserts, bread, pasta dishes, things that are fussy and take a lot of time (when I have it) Making traditional candies and cookies at Christmas time with real butter only. Letting my kids choose the foods they want me to make for each meal on their birthdays and making them feel really special. I love to make up recipes. I won first place once in a contest with a caramel apple cheesecake. I keep hoping to come up with a Pillsbury Bake-Off winner someday. Probably lighting my shirt on fire when I was standing by the stove talking to my father in law...
