Whole Wheat Beer Bread

Reviewed: Dec. 1, 2007
I used a Sprite Zero in place of beer. I should have read reviews first as I can taste the baking powder. I'll try again with less. Otherwise it was good.

Pumpkin Loaf

Reviewed: Nov. 3, 2007
The bread was very moist and had a nice texture but I thought the flavor was lacking. I made the recipe as listed except I swapped a cup of flour with wheat flour.

Toffee Bars III

Reviewed: Apr. 25, 2007
Very similar to bars my mom used to make. I halved the recipe and put in an 8x8" with the chips spread on top as others mentioned. Very easy with ingredients that are always around.

Moist and Chewy Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Feb. 28, 2007
A four because of the modifications I made based on other reviews - went up to 3/4 c. peanut butter (regular, did not have reduced fat on hand) and baked at 345 degrees. Next time I will try using 1 c. peanut butter and cutting back on the margarine. Also, they flattened well without any help from me.

Super Moist Pumpkin Bread

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2007
Mmm! So good and very moist. I left out the nuts and coconut flakes. Next time I will try replacing some of the oil with applesauce.

Puppy Chow

Based on other reviews, I stopped at 7 cups of cereal. So great, just how I remembered it!

Raspberry Squares II

Reviewed: Oct. 28, 2006
Great tasting! As the other reviewer mentioned, I used more jam and reserved less mix for the top. I substituted oats for the walnuts and cut back a bit on the flour.

Deep Dish Brownies

Reviewed: Oct. 28, 2006
Very good! Not how I picture a brownie but will definitely make again. I didn't make any alterations. Looks like they would be easy to overbake, I took mine out a couple minutes early.

Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 14, 2006
Taste great! The dough was really sloppy, though. After seeing how the first sheet turned out I added more flour and made the cookies smaller.

Outrageous Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 6, 2006
They taste great. The dough was very dry and crumbly so I added a little milk. Between that and so many chocolate chips I had trouble getting a decent shape.

Broccoli Quiche with Mashed Potato Crust

Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2005
Very good. The "crust" wasn't very crusty and it was a little time consuming, but I would make it again. I left out the onion and pepper and used vegetable oil in place of olive oil.

Christmas Walnut Toffee

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2005
Recipe doesn't mention the water so that went in with the sugar and syrup. Forgot to put the walnuts in, but still turned out great!
