This was very good. So good it didn't make it to the bbq part. Once the meat was sampled after it came out of the oven, they wanted to eat it just the way it was. Hopefully next time I will able to make it all the way. The only thing I did different was cook it in the oven just as someone else mentioned. Came out juicy.

Over all this was a good recipe. I doubled the gravy as others suggested. I also cooked the onions after I was finished cooking the hamburger patties. One person mentioned in their review that they subbed red wine for sherry. That didn't go over very well with my family. The gravy had a strong taste of wine to it. I will make this again and just omit the sherry all together.

This was short and easy. I usually wake up in the night and want something sweet. Tonight I didn't have any hard candy. This was an excellent 2 am fix.I did use vanilla instead of orange only because I didn't have any. Next time I will try the kool aide. I do need some suggestions on how to make it so it doesn't stick to your teeth.
