Smooth Sweet Tea
I've been wanting to add my two cents in here for a while, but I've been lazy. I've always made sweet tea, however, for the past month or so I've been doing like you say and putting in baking soda and WOW it's made a big difference!!! Thank you so much! The tea gets sucked down much faster in this house now.

Chicken and Green Bean Casserole
I made this dish last night because the ingredients were basicaly all I had on hand. I was highly skeptical about it all and didn't know if it would turn out any good. I was suprised that yes, indeed, it was very yummy. I spooned it over mashed potatoes as requested and it made for a very filling meal. My 6 yr old who is a budding food critic announced that the "sauce" was very "yummers". I did as other's suggested and cut the chicken up into pieces and cooked it a little longer before putting it in the casserole. The only thing I will do different next time will be to flavor up the chicken a little more. This is a great dish to play around with. I will be making this again. Thank You. P.S. My little one called this "Green Bean Pie" lol

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup
I saw this recipe yesterday and made it tonight. Ugh! I am sooooo full I think I'm going to burst! I loved each and every bite! Thank You for sharing. The only thing I did different was use chicken broth with roasted garlic (oh the yummy smell) and I didn't add any salt. I like for my litter to add as they see fit. My picky four year old said "Mmmm" and THAT my dear deserves a 6th star. Had to add that my husband's best friend really likes this soup, and has come over just to raid our fridge for left over ham and potato soup *lol*!
