Sticky Buns!
About this Cook
I'm married, have two children, and work full time as a preschool teacher and center director. Busy, busy, busy!
My favorite things to cook
I love to cook and experiment with recipes, new and old! Baking is my favorite but I like dinners too, especially ones that are quick, easy, and really good(slow cookers are a particular favorite!)
My favorite family cooking traditions
Cookies and pies and breads, oh my! During the holidays I bake my brains out on the weekends, I love it!
My cooking triumphs
When I was 17, I worked for a chef that was invited to the James Beard House in NYC as a guest chef. I was able to "tag along" as his Sous Chef. What a rush! Hat's off to all of you who started and stayed Chef-ing! I decided I wanted more time for a family and a life instead...
My cooking tragedies
I can't stand it when I try a new recipe that totally flops... What a disappointment and waste...

Cheese's Baked Macaroni and Cheese
I tend to make this a bit differently from my sister... extra cheese, less onion, and crushed crackers instead of breadcrumbs. But it's a great base recipe!

Fun Cookie Suckers
What a fun recipe to make with my three year old! We made these for her older brother's Halloween Party at school... A suggestion: a lot of people said they felt the cookies weren't sweet enough. Rather than add more sugar, when I added the color and shaped the cookies I used confectioners sugar to keep the dough from sticking to my hands. =)

Deviled Eggs I
Great basic recipe! I added a bit of sweet relish (just enough to give a hint of sweetness), a little more mayo, and sprinkled the paprika on top rather than mixing it in.
