Cooking has been a big part of my life as long as I can remember. I learned to cook by watching my mom in the kitchen. As I got older, we switched places. I love trying new foods....especially baked goods. I regularly bake for friends and family and am always working to improve. Enchiladas, Latkes, Meatloaf, Lasagna. To bake: Cookies, Bars, Candies My favorite tradition is the one around Thanksgiving. Cooking starts the day before. Pies, stuffing and the turkey are always started on Wednesday. I actually made a coffee cake that was just as good as my mom's (No small feat). The many other coffee cakes that I attempted to make. Needless to say, the recipes went away fast!
