I grew up in Alaska and I have always loved food. Once I got married and had our first child I really got into fixing up a great meal. It was my special time to myself to relax and to create something yummy. Italian, mexican, french, baking, and cake decorating. Grandma's lasagna and potato salad. Cooking a meal and hearing people rave about it or presenting someone with a birthday cake that I made and seeing how happy they are at how it turned out. I was in highschool and I made a cake and I forgot an ingredient and the cake sunk in middle.
