I am married, and the "mother" of Ozzy & Kojak (2 african grey parrots), Nipper (Green cheek), and Rocky (black lab). We own a small dessert cafe' & are building a commercial production bakery/kitchen.

Pecan pralines, cakes, brownies, steak, chicken, pizzelles, hand made chocolates, chicken salad......the list goes on...
My favorite family cooking traditions
I have fond memories of my step-dad getting up very early Christmas morning to make Tom-N-Jerry's. I would wake up to the sound of the mix-master and would find him in the kitchen with my mother's apron tied around his round belly. We spent the entire day with our family and numerous friends who would stop by to visit, and of course to taste my step-dad's famous Tom-N-Jerry's! Those were the best of times, and I so wish I could step back in time and re-live those great times....The Good Ole Days!
My cooking triumphs
I attended King Arthur Bread Baking School (2 professional courses) and have finally learned how to bake bread. BIG triumph for me!
My cooking tragedies
I had my entire family over for Christmas dinner one year. Everything was perfect except for the boneless ham that I had cooked without removing BOTH of the outer plastic casings! We all laughed about it, and the ham was cooked perfectly!
