About this Cook
I am currently living in Sunrise Florida. I am Married with 3 Great Kids. I'm in my 50's. I learned to cook mainly because I needed a hobby to keep me busy, but also because my wife works too and this helps to share some of the chores. Plus I find it a relaxing thing to do after a long day at work. I like to travel and do so because I work for an airline.
My favorite things to cook
I like to try cooking everything but mostly I love Grilling. My wife gave me this Huge 5 all stainless steel 5 burner grill for my birthday. We have it vhooked to the city Gas line so no tanks need to be hauled back and forth.
My favorite family cooking traditions
For Thanksgiving my wife and I both work as a team But the TURKEY is my responsibility and it always comes out moist and tender. Then of course every year there is the corned beef and cabbage for St Patricks Day.
My cooking triumphs
1. My Pork Cutlets coated with Ritz Whole Wheat cracker crumbs. 2. My Nachos that are the ONLY nachos but wife will eat. 3. Skirt steaks on the Grill
My cooking tragedies
Chicken on the grill. Once I tried a Fish recipe that called for using Gouda Cheese, instead I tried Smoked gouda and it was so bad we threw the whole thing out and ordered in a Pizza

Ultimate Party Meatballs
I use this for every office party and as an appetizer at many holiday dinners. Everybody loves it and it really is so simple.

Beer and Brown Sugar Steak Marinade
My family loved this recipe. The only change I made was using Sugartwin Brown sugar substitute and we used a teriyaki sauce that has garlic in it. I also marinated the steaks (ribeyes) for about 2 hours

Salisbury Steak
Easy to do, I had all the ingredients handy and in the house. My wife and daughter both loved it. Highly reccommend this recipe.
