I made this pie last night but forgot to follow some of the other reviewers suggestions about reducing the sugar. If I can get past the sugary sweetness I'm sure I'll enjoy this pie. My husband liked it, although he agreed that it was a bit sweet. I'll make it again but will reduce the sugar to 1-1/2 cups. I also added a bit of cinnamon.

Oh My! Oh My! Oh My! How can something so easy taste so good? I did add an egg and a little lemon zest, but I believe this would have tasted just as good without the additions. Can't wait to make again.

Best cornbread I ever made. Didn't change a thing, although I might reduce the sugar slightly when I make it again, which I surely will. It was a big hit at my house, especially with my 3 year-old granddaughter. Thanks for a keeper.
