These are fantastic! I made them for my gift baskets everyone loved them I did one batch just like it says and another just using andies mints on the top without the nuts. I will definitely make them again.

Mammaw's Waffles
These are fantastic, but I always have to tweak my recipes.....so I changed out 1/2 cup of the flour to whole wheat, used 1/4c brown sugar for the white, 1/4tea of nutmeg and added a teaspoon of vanilla and cinnamon like everyone else. To add some omega 3 acids I also added 1/4c of flax seed. If you leave the leftovers out to cool for an hour they freeze wonderfully and you don't have to buy those expensive ones. My kids love them and my husband said they taste like restaurant waffles.

Yummy Eggnog Pie
If you are like me and burn your pudding on the bottom, I have found that heating my milk or eggnog in this case before cooking it with the pudding on a double boiler helps A LOT! The pie was really yummy, maybe to creamy which seems weird to say. I would try the recipe out before you bring it to a gathering so you can tweek it if needed. I will make it again, didn't know there was an eggnog pie, how festive!
