Cream Puffs
This is one of my all-time favorite recipes! I've gotten the best reviews from friends and family when using cheesecake and white chocolate-flavored puddings (instead of plain or french vanilla), and the "Satiny Chocolate Glaze" from this site is absolutely delicious when spread on top. I also make these with lemon-flavored pudding and sprinkle them with powdered sugar. For variety, I usually divide the ingredients for the filling in half and mix up two different bowls of filling, using two flavors of pudding. Adding extra vanilla extract to both the cream puff dough and pudding mixture really helps to get rid of the "eggy" taste and mask the "boxed pudding" flavor so that the filling tastes like it was made from scratch.
