this is awesome. the first time i made i followed exact recipe... awesome. 2nd time i didnt discard the pickles. I chopped them and added onion and a can of tomatoe paste to thicken the sauce. They were out of this world great!

Cheesy Creamed Spinach

oh my goodness, I made this as written and it was wonderful. The second time i had smoked gouda on hand and used it and it was even better. next time I am going to toss in some shrimp and serve it over noodles.

Yellow Pickled Eggs

A little sweet, a little sour, thought they were pretty good overall. One thing to remember is to use "pickling/canning" salt, or kosher salt. The iodide in regular iodized table salt will ruin anything pickled.
