If I could I would give this pie ten stars. I have never baked strawberry pies before. The topping made the difference. I added sugar sprinkles to it just before baking was complete. From now on I will use this kind of topping on all of my fruit pies. At this moment I have a nectarine pie in the oven. It is looking like a master piece.

I have used a similar recipe for years. I use both hot and sweet sausages, and do them on the grill. I take a piece of tinfoil and roll the edges up and do the peppers on the grill also, then right at the end I add the sausages after they have been browned. Yummy! Every body has has some loved it.

A great cake. I have made it several times and carried it to work. Folks just love it. Very moist. I did substitute orange juice for the water which worked just fine. Yummy!
