Tangy Barbecue Sandwiches
This recipe got more flavorful each day we ate the leftovers. My one piece of advice would be to be sure to trim as much fat as possible off of the chuck roast before making this and to skim the oil off the top toward the end of cooking - otherwise it gets a little greasy.

Chicken Fettuccini Alfredo
Creamy and very tasty. My husband raved about it. However, I put in a little extra italian seasoning than the recipe called for, and it made the taste a little too strong. I also put in some extra milk because I worried about having enough, but the milk watered it down a bit. In sum, I'd stick very closely to the recipe if I made it again.

Simple Scones
The scones turned out delicious. My husband could not stop raving about them. However, I would not call them simple, even with the food processor, and cleaning up the kitchen afterwards took a long time. Next time I might make a double batch since it was too much work for only 8 scones.
