My wife and I share the cooking duties. She's much more creative than I. My strength is conceptualizing a meal and building around a recipe. I love preparing Enchiladas as well as various Italian dishes. When the warm weather prevails, grilling is a true enjoyment. At Christmas time, my parents would prepare pound cakes and use the old fashioned pans rather than the Bundt-style ones. The cakes always came out flavorful and moist. Recently I prepared a Minestrone soup in the crock pot which came out fabulous. We actually ate the leftovers, rather than discarding. Beef Wellington comes to mind along with Cristmas day Croissants from scratch.
