About this Cook
Retired Registered nurse, married, mother of two sons, one grandson,a lovebird, and a shitz tsui rounds of my family.Husband is retired now so I like to use what time I have in the kitchen as productive.Free time I use to spend with my husband.I have been successful in losing 80lbs and have 20lbs to go.It crept on but it was hard work and determination that is taking it off to my normal weight. Now,I thoroughly glow when I get a high five from my grandson for the meal of the day.Love theatre, hiking, travelling, and learning about new people and places. Became computer savvy only in the last 2yrs.Maritimers are generally a friendly and relaxed people.Living by the ocean is great for fun. Thanks to All recipes I now have a new hobby which is great for cold winter days

Creamy Rice Pudding
LIVES UP TO THE TITLE.i COOK THE RICE WHEN I AM HAVING RICE FOR A VEGETABLE.I SAVE THE AMT. FOR THE NEXT DAY.USING HALF SUGAR SUBSTITUTE AND LIQUID HONEY,CANNED SKIM MILK FOR HALF OF THE MILK NEEDED LENDS TO A HEALTHIER DESSERT FOR THE WEIGHT CONSCIOUS WITHOUT AFFECTING THE FLAVOR OR TEXTURE.2MIN. I FIND IS NOT LONG ENOUGH FOR THE RAISINS TO PLUMP.I SIMMER THEM IN THE MILK FROM THE BEGINNING.GOOD FOR ANY TYPE MEAL,FANCY OR CASUAL.
