Youngest of 4 girls, being the tom-boy (still am!) Spent many years working in retail, returning to school at 33, graduating with honors from business school. I love making holiday meals, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's especially. Used to spend my one lone day off in retail just baking cookies for the holidays! Didn't really have that many traditions in my family except for New Year's Day making pork & sauerkraut. Just ask my husband about my cooking! I make dumplings just like his mom made! I've even impressed my mom with my cooking (which means I did pay attention when I was a kid!) I accidentally melted my can opener on the stove (gas stove!)
