DEELISH!! I didn't (and wouldn't!) change anything. They had perfect flavor. My kids especially loved the shortbread crust. Thank you so much for sharing this recipe--it's a keeper!

Buttermilk Pound Cake

Excellent cake! I used 1/2 tsp vanilla and 1/2 tsp almond extract to give extra flavor, and because I thought that it would complement the raspberry sauce that I had to go with it. Dessert got rave reviews...I will definately make this again. I'd never tried to make a pound cake before as I had heard that they are "fussy", but this was incredibly easy and oh so yummy!!

Clark's Quiche

This quiche was awesome! Great flavor!I used broccoli instead of spinach because thats what I had on hand...the broccoli obviously has more volume than spinach because I had enough filling for 3 deep dish pie crusts! I shared them with our neighbors and now my hubby who 2 hours ago wanted nothing to do with quiche is sulking because we ate our entire quiche and have no leftovers *sigh* Thanks for a great recipe!

Slow Cooker Italian Beef for Sandwiches

I made this recipe for our annual superbowl party. What a hit! The beef went over so well that it lessened the pain of "da bears" loosing!! I had several requests for the recipe...quite impressive from a chicago crowd! Note: I used a 7lb rump roast, and substituted beef broth for water (6 cups). I also doubled the seasoning. Served on toasted buns with sliced mozzarella, and giardinera. DEElish!

Merry Berry Salad

This is my absoulte favorite salad recipe. I make it every thanksgiving and Christmas, and it is always met with rave reviews. From time to time I will "shake things up a bit" and use different nuts-toasted pecans are very good. Otherwise I don't change a thing! Try adding leftover turkey and crumbled feta or blue cheese for a meal. YUM!

Easy Slow Cooker French Dip

WOW! My family and I thank you so much for this delicious recipe! Three days after trying it we are still talking about it! The only modifications I made were to sprinkle the roast (generously) with garlic powder, and the broth that I used was beefy onion for added flavor. "Delish" was my picky 8 year old's comment. This is a keeper!!

Best Italian Sausage Soup

I made this soup for a party over the weekend. It was AWESOME! I got many requests for the recipe. I used chopped tomatoes instead of whole, used cabarnet for the wine, and used cheese tortelinni for the pasta. This just might be my new favorite recipe...thanks so much Perri!
