I love to cook. Some of my fondest memories are in the kitchen with my Grandmothers or my Aunt. Smells & tastes take me back & revive sweet, happy times. I'm a faithful Rachel Ray fan! YUMMO!!! I love ethnic foods most especially Asian and Greek. I love cooking fare that isn't "Americanized." I love tastes that aren't familiar. I love fresh ingredients in season. I love trying daring & new things! Saturday mornings in the kitchen with the kids! I also always do a red velvet cake for Christmas & Easter, Representing Christ's shed blood. Mastering some really yummy German recipes while my hubby was stationed in Europe. (German pretzels & spatzel). Also mastering Thai recipes for my Thai son whom we're adopting. Most of my tragedies happen when I become distracted & burn something! :0)
