Sauce was thick and gluey, even my kids who love sauce thought it was too much. We were disappointed. I might try again but I'll make some substitutions. I'll tempura the chicken use 1/2 the sauce with 1/2 the orange and much less cornstarch would make this a great dish.

Hot Spinach and Artichoke Dip

This is really good. Closest yet to our favorite restraunt version but it has to be hot. If this gets to even warm it's not nearly as good and it's too thick to dip.

Chinese Noodle Chicken

Very quick. Used the homemade sauce recipe from another reviewer, used preprepared frozen stir fry veggies and we had dinner in 15 minutes.

My Favorite Sugar Cookies

This one takes a long time to come together in higher elevations. At first I thought I had done something really wrong but it finally became a dough. It's a bit stiff to work with. I did add almond flavor as it is a big bland without some kind of flavor. I think orange would be yummy too.

Moist and Chewy Peanut Butter Cookies

These were not lowfat but were very greasy in my opinion. I could have used another cup of flour easily. I did use lowfat butter and peanut butter but maybe it's a brand thing. They were chewy but other than that just bland and greasy.

Eggless Ginger Cookies

This is a great eggless cookie. I didn't even bother to roll them out. Just used a small ice cream scoop, rolled them in additional white sugar and pushed them down with the bottom of a glass. Mmmmm.

Clone of a Cinnabon

These were just like Cinnabon. Stringy and undone in the middle. I don't care for Cinnabon because of that but my whole family loves them. Next time I will bake according to another viewer at a lower temperature for a longer time. Otherwise, I used a different cream cheese frosting recipe from this site and they were gone before anything else on the brunch bar.

Honey Garlic Ribs

After reading several reviews I made a few changes and our ribs turned out great. I parboiled for about 30 minutes before cooking. To eliminate the foaming problem I let the sauce sit for those 30 minutes. I added an additional 2 cloves of garlic and instead of sprinkling with garlic salt I used our favorite spicy cajun seasoning. The only thing I think I would do different next time is leave the ribs in a rack and use a pan with higher edges. The entire baking time my house smelled of burning sugar because the sauce spilled when I put the pan in the oven.

Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies I

Used all shortening because we like those kind of cookies and it did take all 15 minutes to bake. Cut salt in half and there was plenty. Added 1/2 tsp. cinnamon and 1 tsp. vanilla. They turned out pretty good but not as good as my old standby recipe. Was a fun new recipe for the kids to try. UPDATE: The kids wanted cookies in a hurry so I doubled by half and used half shortening and half peanut butter. I also added all the salt this time and they were much better.

Glazed Meatloaf II

We loved this recipe. I did exchange the 3TBS of lemon juice with 3TBS of sweet relish like my mother-in-law uses and we finally found a recipe that tastes like hers. Next time I will make 2 so we actually have leftover for sandwiches the next day.
