I have 4 kids and my own quilting business. I home school as well. My favorite subject is science in the kitchen. My favorite things to cook are nachos because they can be made with just about anything. My most famous dish is Mac and Cheese. Even my adult friends ask for seconds. We always make Christmas meatballs (a family secret recipe) and have an appetizer dinner for Christmas Eve with all of our favorite appetizers and desserts. If we ate them all on Christmas day there wouldn't be enough room in everyone's stomach for dinner. I love that I have gotten good enough at cooking that my friends will tell other people to never turn down a invitation to eat at our house. We get invited to every potluck event as well. We've eaten some pretty interesting food when I teach my kids to cook. I like to let them do as much as they can by themselves.
