Apple Pie by Grandma Ople
SUCCESSFUL ALTERATIONS: i didn't use granny smith. (have no idea what kind of apples they are, but they are a much softer kind, and i prefer my filling to be more soft.) also, i increased butter to 3/4 c w *salted* butter and added 1 tbs cinnamon to the filling mixture. i poured 3/4 mixture over apples before adding lattice and brushed remaining over lattice after applying.
CRITICISM: i'd reduce the "continued baking" instructions to 25-35 min (instead of 35-45 min)
