I live in Texas and I am 71 years old. I do not cook as much now as I use to as my family has all grown and moved away. Just my husband and I. I really like recipes that are scaled for 2. Bread, Pies, fast meals that taste good. Fish after a big catch with everyone of the family enjoying the food and fellowship. My husband cooks the deep fried fish after I bread it with my special breading. I will have to put my breading on this site someday. If you like southern fried fish, this breading is for you. It is made with cornmeal. I made some chili and I make a mean chili but the meat was bad and everyone who ate it got sick. I had bought the meat and put it in the freezer till I decided to use it. I guess the store had put some bad meat out on their shelves. You could not tell it was bad before it was cooked. yuck....I make great chili but this was awfull.
