Colleen's Slow Cooker Jambalaya

This turned out much better than I anticipated! I doubled the recipe and the only changes made were (1) added some garlic (2) browned the sausage before adding to the pot and (3) throwing in some rice during the last half hour. Made great leftovers...

Hungarian Goulash I

Enjoyed this with just slight tweaking... To thicken the sauce I added very thinly diced potatoes which evaporated quickly and gave the desired thickness I was seeking without having to add flour. Also tripled (or more) the garlic and added a few shakes of crushed red pepper and parsley. Will make again. Thanks for the recipe.

Savory Vegetable Beef Stew

This stew recipe was exactly what I was hoping to find! Only change was celery in place of green pepper.. oh, and I tossed in a can of green beans. Cut back a bit on the flour mixture and it was a huge hit! Will certainly be making many times this winter. Thanks for posting.

Juicy Roasted Chicken

Excellent! Amazed that such simple ingredients could result in such a fabulous meal! I used 2 chickens stuffed with celery, onion, butter and garlic. Roasted uncovered for just under 2 hours basting quite frequently in the last half hour. Also added some chicken broth to the bottom of the pan before throwing in the oven. Will make over and over again!

Chicken Tortilla Soup V

This was a huge hit! I was skeptical given how simple it looked but everyone asked me to please make it again. Only changes I made were to double the recipe and boil the chicken breasts to keep them moist. Doubled the garlic, chili powder and used a medium hot salsa. Thanks for a simple yet delicious recipe!

This was a huge hit tonight with the few modifications others had suggested. I used 2 cans cream of chicken, 1 can cream of mushroom AND 1/4c milk as the sauce would have been too thick otherwise. I also sauteed the onions, broccoli and celery along with minced garlic and a few shakes of crushed red pepper. Cheese in the sauce and on top... I will be making this quite often!

Fabulous recipe! I normally tweak recipes but wanted to try this one "as it" and it did not disappoint. Don't be afraid to add the 1tsp of cayenne... I added a touch extra and my children didn't even notice.

Melt - In - Your - Mouth Shortbread

These just did not turn out at all! I followed the recipe to a "T" only modification being the addition of 1tsp of vanilla as per other comments. Whipped the butter for approx. 20 minutes until nice and white, etc. The result - the garbage can!

Fantastic recipe! I have made this several times making the full batch as it does freeze well...only modification on my last batch was to add some green onion along with the onions and celery... I will continue to make this time and time again, especially in the colder months! Thanks for posting a great recipe...

Pork Chops Stuffed with Smoked Gouda and Bacon

Fabulous! This recipe has now made every member of my household a fan of smoked gouda cheese. Our chops were thick enough to make deep pockets and there was very little leakage (which I was expecting)... I will be making this on a regular basis...

Baked Garlic Parmesan Chicken

I found this recipe so simple and easy to throw together on a busy weeknight! I had nothing prepared for dinner and had to come up with something quick using only ingredients on hand. It turned out great.. only changes were using Italian style bread crumbs, baking for an additional 1/2 hr (bone in chicken) and topped with salsa and mozz. cheese for the last 10 minutes. And I agree with the others.. this does make way too much of the breading. I used 6 large pieces of chicken and ended up throwing 3/4 of the crumb mixture out.
