Easy Morning Glory Muffins

Yummers! I diced the apple instead of shredding it for a chunkier affect. Perfect recipe for fall. Next time I will make into loaves to give as gifts. I had to bake about 5 extra minutes but they cam out perfect. Thanks!

Marinated Tuna Steak

Reviewed: Aug. 3, 2009
I am so impressed with this recipe! I followed exactly as directed other than letting it marinate for 1hour and just searing the edges. I bought sushi grade tuna so it came out cool pink and moist in the middle and crusty on the edges. I will try with a little fresh ginger next time as suggested. This is a definate KEEPER!

Chicken Marsala

Reviewed: Aug. 1, 2009
This turned out pretty good. I did feel like I had to thicken the sauce with water and cornstarch. I also added good seasons to the flower mixture to give it more flavor as suggested. When frying up the chicken I added about 3 cloves of chopped up garlic. I would double the sauce mixture and wine if I tried it again. I didn't have quite enough to put over pasta so I buttered the pasta firt and drizzled with what little sauce I had. I also chopped up some fresh flat parsely and sprinkled it on the top.

Swordfish a la Siciliana

This was totally worth the trip to the store to buy the ingredients! If you want somthing different and easy to make that will impress....this is it! I cooked the mixture ahead of time so that all I had to do was cover it ontop of the fish and stick it in the oven when my guests arrived. I made the recipe to the T and it came out perfect! I served this with rice pilaf and mixed arugula salad. YUM

Adrienne's Cucumber Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 29, 2009
This is such a quick and easy recipe, I used green onions instead of white because my sister doesn't do well with raw onions...and it worked out well. I may cut down to 1/2 cup of sugar next time, it was yummy but just a little too sweet for my taste.

This was pretty good, the flavor was nice but it turned out a little mushy. Maybe I used the wrong type of pot.

Grilled Chicken Adobo

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2009
I followed the recipe with low sodium soy sauce and reduce it to 1 cup and it came out yummy, although it looked a little different than the picture....mine didn't have that red color to it. It was more a brown. Grilling it really made the difference. We were in the middle of a huge snow storm so I used an indoor grill.

Dill Dip III

Perfect and tastey, I used 1/2 tblsp of garlick salt for the seasoning salt and followed the rest of the recipe to a T. I cut the recipe in half and still had a little left....not saying that it didn't go...there were only five of us.

Honestly, the best pie I have ever made. Everyone was so impressed. I also used oats instead of breadcrumbs and it came out yummy. I will say though, that it is pretty messy to cut and serve but well worth it! Thank you!

Mulligatawny Soup I

Reviewed: Nov. 14, 2008
If I could give this soup 10 stars I would. This is the best recipe yet that I have tried on this site. I LOVED everything about it! I used a rotisery chicken from the night before for the meat and added 1/4 cup extra rice but I think that it didn't need it. I also was out of thyme but the flavor was restaurant quality. I am so proud of how it came out...Thank you!

Really disapointed with this recipe. It came out dry and thick and tasteless. I followed the recipe to a T. The tray of this mac and cheese was hardly touched. I will try a different recipe next time.

Loved this recipe! I added about 1/4 cup of water to make it saucier and 1/4 cup of red wine for more flavor...not that it needed it, I'm just a fan of the wine flavor. Thanks, this is a keeper!

Really yummy, I made a pulled chicken with this sauce and it was a HUGE hit. I did't have celery seed or red wine vinager so I used cider vinager and it was great. I will half up this recipe next time because it makes a ton...it all still went though! Thanks Big Al!
