4c. oats is too many! Since I dumped them in and it was too thick and crumbly, I added a cup of applesauce and another egg and they turned out fine. Not as sweet as I would like...next time I will double the brown sugar!

Baked Oatmeal Squares

I just made these with the kids. We accidentally dumped in too many oats so we added some applesauce and went ahead and chopped up an apple too. When done the taste was good, but needs more spices. Also still too crumbly,maybe my fault. We crumbled it up and ate like like cereal with milk and sugar on top!.......... Update: I made these again. Doubled cinnamon and added another 1/2c brown sugar, 1 cup applesauce, whole chopped apple. When done I covered in "Vanilla Glaze" from All Recipes and let it sit til cool. It cut into bars nicely and had a sticky sweet top!

Sweet and Sour Sauce II

I didn't have tomato paste, white vinegar or pineapple tidbits. I used ketchup and apple cider vinegar and pineapple chunks, including the juice! It was so yummy. I poured it over chicken nuggets and rice and the kids gobbled it up like it was take out!

Cream Cheese Frosting II

I am just learning to bake and I made some home made cinnammon rolls and quickly jumped onto All Recipes to find an icing recipe for the top. This was the first one I saw and it was perfect. I had all of the stuff, it was very easy and quick and the taste was perfect. Not too sweet! It complimented the cinnamon and sugar perfectly! I loved it, the whole family loved it more than the rolls themselves!
