I eliminated the egg because I didn't have any on hand and I needed this made quickly...VERY good! Reminds me of what I had growing up...I loved it!

Wow this soup was amazing. My kids who do NOT like peas asked for more! My husband went on and on about how good it was! I used chicken broth instead of water and heavy cream instead of milk (it was all I had!) and then I put shredded mozz. cheese on top before serving..YUM! This is definite keeper!!!!

not sure yet...i followed the instructions but was short a tad on the sugar so maybe that is what made it not as sweet as i like so next time i'll add a bit more sugar. also, it's not very firm so after refrigerating it for several hours and not being able to cut it without it being mush, i now have it in the freezer. it tastes pretty good but not what i had in mind. i will try making this again..maybe more corn starch...?
