I'm a single mom of 2 kids and I am currently trying to finish up my BS degree in sociology. I recently bought a steamer and a quesadilla maker and am enjoying different "concoctions" that turn out well in them. I am more of a "creative" cook than one that follows recipes. I will try out new recipes when I am looking for something different but after that first time or two I am altering the recipe, sometimes I am altering it on the first time I try it ^_^ Spaghetti, chili, taco casserole, swedish meatballs, chicken florentine... sometimes my experiments don't turn as well as I had hoped but usually they are still edible
