I am a 27-year-old divorcee living in Nowhereville, USA. I live with my brother and my friend Betsy. I also have a wonderful boyfriend named Adam who is somewhat of a picky eater. Soups are my specialty, especially pasta fagioli; triple chocolate cheesecake. My best friend Rachael, who is more like an older sister than anything else, used to live with me. We started a great tradition called Soup Wars. I make a stockpot full of soup, she answers with a stockpot full of her own creation. Pasta fagioli answered with minestrone; chili followed up with beef stew. After many tweakings of a recipe I got from a magazine ad, my triple chocolate cheesecake has been perfected! I once tried one of those frozen stew mixes that you just dump in the crock pot. And I will never do that again! It was the most hideous thing I have ever tasted. I had to dispose of it, and my garbage disposal wasn't working very well, so I decided to dump it in the toilet. I accidentally dropped the crock pot in the process and somehow it got stuck in the john. I mean, SERIOUSLY wedged. My husband (at the time) had to chisel the handle off the crock pot in order to remove it! ...And that is the story of how I got my crock pot stuck in my toilet.
