Garlic Prime Rib
I loved the finished product...but I had to serve dinner two hours late! I left the meat out for 45 minutes, after which it wasn't anywhere near room temperature. It was a 10 lb. cut. So, I had no choice but to put it in the oven to start cooking, or else I'd risk bacteria in the meat and also risk being late getting done. Anyway, I had a total time in the oven of 4 hours, not 1. Be warned. It's a great recipe, but plan on a LOT longer to cook than you may expect, especially if you've got a 10 lb piece of meat. Luckily, my guests were mostly patient and didn't have anywhere else to go!
